It's coming
Yesterday, the first steps were taken to get my website up online. YES! It is coming! The domains were set up yesterday for 2 years. It will be in the works soon, so I am currently starting to stock-pile some jewellery and Geoff is working out some designs and such for it. My photography has long needed a website, but to have one that will be there for my jewellery also, as well as selling prints and jewellery, I can't wait!
I'm so ridiculously excited, it's untrue! When I have that all set up, I'll be printing some business cards. I am hoping to do a 'grand opening' as well, for which I plan to put my available jewellery and prints on sale

Four years
Well, better late than never! I kept on remembering and then forgetting again about my deviantART birthday this year, so I've finally remembered to mention it, even though it was June 10th that is my deviantART birthday! But anyway- I've been here 4 years, and come August, I will have been doing horror and macabre photography and make up for over 4 years too.
Thinking of other four years, I will have known Geoff for 4 years in September and will have been with him for 4 years in November. I can say they've been a pretty damn good four years! I've been so ridiculously happy throughout this relationship, and I just seem to keep on getting happier.

That deviantART volunteers (MN@ and Gallery Moderators) are not paid to help out on deviantART and therefore aren't staff?
That deviantART volunteers do not have to put up with insulting language from other deviantART members?
That deviantART volunteers sacrifice their own time and money to helping other deviantART members?
That deviantART volunteers do not have set working hours and therefore can do their voluntary jobs at whatever time suits them?
That deviantART volunteers are chosen for their ability and will to work in the community and to help people, and not on how good their internet connection happens to be?
That internet connections, no matter how perfect will always have some sort of problem at some point in time?
That real life shit happens, which means that deviantART volunteers are not here to be your slaves 24 hours a day 7 days a week?
_{A few of those are obvious to me, but then I'm not a someone that seems to think volunteers are here to service all my needs when I say so, and should not be allowed to volunteer if they have chatroom lag for 30 minutes, while being the only MN@ online and helping 2 other people in a help chatroom. Seriously- you're suggesting people shouldn't be able to volunteer on deviantART because their internet connection has an issue every once in a while? WELL HOLY SHIT! I'M SURE A BILLION PEOPLE CAN CONTACT ME NOW AND TELL ME THEIR INTERNET HAS HAD THE MOST PERFECT CONNECTION FOR ALL ETERNITY! AND THAT THEY ARE NOT SUBJECTED TO REAL LIFE PROBLEMS SUCH AS POWERCUTS OR ILLNESS.IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PERFECT INTERNET CONNECTION 100% OF THE TIME, THEN YOU SHOULD SURELY KILL YOURSELF RIGHT NOW JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOULD BE GIVING YOUR VOLUNTEER SPACE UP TO SOMEONE THAT DOES HAVE PERFECT INTERNET!}

Please understand that being a volunteer is not a fucking cakewalk, and that sometimes, no one can multi-task when you have 3 chatrooms full of people to both help and moderate, or reply to 100s of DD suggestions AND miscat reports. We can't be at your beck and call because we have lives too- and real life can sometimes take a dump on what we're trying to do. Patience is a virtue.
I think you might find that ALL staff and ALL volunteers will have a dodgy connection at some point in their life. Shall we just remove all the administrators for that reason and let the site turn to shit? Yeah. Thought not.
