Glad tidings
I've recently got engaged to *AphexPhoton. It's a beautiful ring, and I'm so happy to be marrying this guy in the future- I'll have to share a picture of it with you guys soon! We've been living together for a while now, and hopefully we can save up some cash and get married in a few years or so. Good times!

The usual
Well, as usual, I seem to have taken forever in adding a journal entry. Things have been more than hectic recently and I've had barely enough time to sleep, let alone come on dA and spend my time as I want to.
I'm between homes at the moment- I'm currently buying a house, and in the process had to leave the house I was renting early to live with friends. This wasn't the best move, but considering the rental agents were being a bunch of idiots, we thought it best to get them out of our hair.
We had a letter from the rental agents 2 months before our lease end asking whether we wanted to stay for another 6 months. We called them up asking if it was possible to lease on a month-by-month basis, and if that was not possible, we'd be leaving at the lease end. They assured us they would ask the landlord and get back to us. A month later, we asked the landlord ourselves, as he'd had no such message from the rental agents. Two weeks prior to our lease end, we'd still had no correspondence from the rental agents and decided to call them up regarding our lease end. They seemed to take offence to the fact we were expecting to leave the property at the lease end, since they'd not contacted us to tell us we could stay, and we were told we'd not given enough notice to leave at the lease end and had to stay another 2 weeks- even though we gave notice 2 months before. They then proceeded to blacklist my phone number and ignored my calls- even when I wanted to arrange giving back the keys- very professional. We're glad to be out of their web, in all honesty.
Unfortunately, to add much stress to the situation, our work place is also moving, so before the 31st of August, all our rock sample preparation equipment has to be moved to the new site. This stuff is heavy and expensive to move and has been a bit of a farce so far. To add yet further annoyance, we are estimated to be able to pick up the keys for our new house on the same day, so things could turn pear shaped very quickly next week. *AphexPhoton appears to be doing all the work for this move and I'm stuck, unable to help, doing the work a macro could to at the office part of work. Shit times.

Photography and jewellery
As mentioned, my life is currently upside down, so my passions for making jewellery and taking photos are being whipped into a dark corner while I wander around, unable to get my rage out. I hope to have some new photos sometime soon, as if not, I will explode.
