I couldn't think of something necessarily evil when someone is cut open and poured out, so the rose can be however you'd like to interpret it. I see the rose here as a parasite. It has the colour of blood..

Much too long..

Hello folks!
Yes, it's been far, far too long since I was around in these neck of the woods for more than a fleeting moment!
I've been busying myself with two jobs and a homelife, meaning I have little time to squeeze in those 5-hour long commenting sessions. Unfortunately, I'm a few thousand messages behind, as deviantART is adamant that my commenting is spam! Alas, it means I get to say a lot less on here than I wish to, but c'est la vie.

Anyway, since my last journal entry back in August 2011, my life has rather changed slightly. I now own a house, and not only have I got my full time job as before, I'm also juggling it with my small jewellery business. It's not a huge earner, and I'm far from quitting my day job, but then it's helping me to save for important things like decorating and fixing up my home with my fiance.

And on that note, in just over a weeks time, I'll be getting married, which is also where a huge amount of my time has been eaten away! Not only have I organised it all, but I've also made the invites, wedding favours, bouquets, table decorations, seating plan, order of service, jewellery, cufflinks and confetti. Phew!

This is my excuse fro being a smidgen busy, but it's definitely worth it. So, in just over a week, I'll be happy to call myself Mrs Hall. Wonderful.

Hello there! I am from the good ole' UK. I am a photographer and jewellery crafter

I've been on deviantART since June 2005. I got a seniorship in October 2007 and a deviousness award in November 2007. I was accepted into the MN@ team in September 2008 until June 2011, so I am a very proud member.

On deviantART, I am a keen photographer and horror SFX artist, as well as a long-time supporter of the other artists around.

In my other time, I work as a geologist, meaning if I throw a rock your way, I'll be able to tell you what rock it is, and how good it is for holding oil. But yeah- it won't be that much of a consolation if it hits you.

I also have my own business in the making, selling jewellery and accessories. At the moment, my work can be found on Etsy at Xerces Art on Etsy, and some items are also currently on exhibition at the Cetra gallery, in Heswall, Wirral, CH60 7RE. Cetra gallery and studio
