Christmas is ridiculously close now! You folks got all your shopping done? And what gifts are you getting this year?
I should have a photo or two if I'm lucky- for I have 1 and a half weeks of holiday and no work!! I'm excited as wlel because I get to see Geoff on Christmas eve- I've not been able to do that before without a car!

Devastatingly normal snow
The UK has once again ground to a devastating halt and has become the laughing stock of the world once more- just like every year we have snow.
Unlike many other countries, we never expect snow, and have no way to cope with it bar screaming and crying until the tears freeze onto our cheeks.
The south of England is now back into the stone age, with the fact all roads are undriveable, the Eurostar is stuck in the Chunnel, and people are spending the night in their car for the hundredth time. The hopeless public transport system we have implemented- which is usually crushed at rush hour- is now flailing about like a small wet fish on some hot coals. We get caught out by the simplest of things.
Unlike many other countries, we don't seem to have grasped the idea of gritting roads properly, have no such thing as snow/winter tyres, and we are seemingly not allowed to use grips or chains for normal tyres due to the twat behind us wanting to travel at about 50 miles an hour on snow.
Yes- I'm fucking cynical, and half of me is laughing at how much we suck. The other half is facepalming.

Hello new watchers! I've had a massive influx of you all since my DD, and since I still have a few thousand messages in my inbox that I have no hope clearing this year, I want to thank you all for the faves, comments, watches and general support.

Loving the groups
I hope you folks can agree with the new groups system being awesome and epic. The only problem I have with the groups is the fact that I am now getting hundreds of deviations more per day. I wish people would exercise some self restraint rather than sending me their entire gallery over a period of a couple of days.
I now have way too many deviations to comment on, which means either:
Fewer comments
Shorter, crappier comments
Comments sent months after original submission.

All of those sound pretty sucky to me.. I love commenting on peoples art, and cutting down on that really does annoy me. I just wish people wouldn't take the piss so much with group submissions. I must have commented about 80-120 deviations per day recently, and it's really hard to get through them while trying to get other things like sleeping and eating done. I don't want to have to delete everything in my devwatch, so can people perhaps exercise some restraint when spamming their deviations to groups?
