You folks that know me will know that I'm a big fan of dinosaurs, and after seeing another <ahref="[link]">dinosaur cake that has been made, I decided to make my own and document it for a tutorial. Alas, it is not as good, but it was great fun to create!
I'm incredibly happy with this cake, and it's taken surely at least 7 hours of my life to create. It consists of 2 8-inch sandwich cakes with rasberry jam, loads of butter icing, malteaser eyes, chocolate chips, chocolate vermicelli, chocolate plates and fruit jelly plates. And of course, it has to be a green dinosaur!
Later pics of the cake were caught at our housewarming party today. We decided to give it a piece of spare cake to nom on
