ManiacI love to watch smoke blow out of windows. The elegant curves, collecting until the cool breeze outside destroys it, and it fades into nothing in the dark.
Lights, so dim, but illuminating the haze with a warm and grainy light, feint shadows crawling up the walls.
The smoke becomes thick and begins to billow out of the narrow window, the breeze struggling to carry it away.

I take a step back as a lick of flame jabs into the darkness behind the dirty window.
I feel warmth on my face as more flames begin to spread. I jump back as something explodes within and shattering glass from the windows drops in shards onto the cold concrete below.

A couple enjoying a beautiful winters walk at dusk.

Taken in Erddig park, Wrexham in January, 2010 after a heavy snowfall. I've been looking through some of my old photos, and it was clearly something I should put up. I don't know who the couple are, but it looked such a romantic scene to me.
Cokin P 121 gradual ND filter used.
