The only thing the rain seems to be good for is making flowers and plants look that little more magical.
Photo taken in my mum's garden between showers. This is an Agapanthus
I love the way the droplets hang from the stems and lens everything behind them.

Full view needed to see the lawn and more of the flowers in the droplets.

Done with a Canon EFS 60mm f/2.8 macro usm lens.

I believe this was when I had my Canon 400D using an EFS 60mm f/2.8 macro usm lens- nothing too special. Very glad you like it!

They are rather tricky to do, I gotta say. With flowers in the garden, you really need to take as many photos as possible focussing on the droplet, since it's tricky battling with the wind moving the plants!
If you've not had an results trying to get pics, perhaps it might help to get a piece of glass or perspex above what you want to have refracted, then add a droplet to the glass, focus on the droplet and take photos through it. It solves the problems of movement due to wind and such :)
Very glad you like this

thats a neat idea, thanks for the tip!

i personally think the ones with the most clarity aren't witchcraft but taken indoors with some lighting ;p
