It's been so long since I submitted some jewellery. I've been so busy lately, and all the jewellery I've been making over the past few months has been stacking up waiting for photos. I've got a little more space and time on my hands, so I've tried to drastically improve my product photography with better lighting and settings. I hope I'm achieving that at least. Notice my friendly household rocks are helping the scene somewhat. This piece has waited a long time to be photographed! It is a necklace made with a natural peacock feather. It has been wrapped in silver-plated wire, and includes a set of Swarovski bicone crystals in matching colours to compliment the feather. The wire is designed to weigh the necklace down slightly so it lies better. I find peacock feathers are almost too light to wear.
