From my series of pictures named with a song title Pretty Piece Of Flesh- One Inch Punch

Firstly: THIS IS PHOTOGRAPHY not photomanipulation.
After having this idea down for ages, I finally got to do it. The song is from the 'Romeo and Juliet' film soundtrack. The expression 'pretty piece of flesh' can describe someone of sexual value, so here's my, rather literal, pretty piece of flesh.. from my leg.
This is a photograph- please realise this. My leg did actually look like this a while ago, but as usual, it's NOT REAL :-)

Please respect my leg. It has feelings too.

Model: My leg

I give my full permission for #TaintedArt to display this deviation in the club's gallery

This is NOT Stock photography. You do not have permission to use this image.

Read-
All blood and injuries in this PHOTOGRAPH is entirely fake. It is a display of FX make up and is not depicting any kind of self-harm, nor is it condoning it or glorifying any act of self-harm in any way. Please respect this at all times.

Any questions? Check out the FX Make-up FAQ. Feel free to ask!

Thank you! the little square is actually some moulding wax moulded onto my skin with some fake blood underneath and cut open. Fake blood has been added to the outside of it afterwards as well :)

"Model: My leg"
I'm really over tired, and totally lol'd at that. :XD:

Anyway, reminds me of Saw. "The jigsaw piece that I cut from my subjects was only ever meant to be a symbol that that subject was missing something. A vital piece of the human puzzle. The survival instinct."

Funny thing is, I actually have done something very similar. I was helping my mom with a project and the cuff of my jean was bugging me. I forgot I had an exacto knife in my hand (No clue how I managed to do that lol) and started to lean over to fix it. I managed to stab myself in the thigh and have a pretty nifty scar from it, as well as a hole in one of my favorite pairs of jeans. I didn't need stitches though. That, and my mom's a nurse so I didn't have to go to the hospital or anything.

By the way, I've been meaning to ask you where you get the wax for shots like this? Does it have to be/Is it better to use a specific kind? Or are they all the same? And how thick do you usually make the layer of wax?

Sorry for all the questions but some of my friends and I helping out at a local haunted house and wanted to do something cool.

unfortunately, the wax was some i kept from when i had orthodontic work. i have litle left, and i'm afraid i can't really tell you where to find more cos i dunno myself!
i think the wax was pretty thin-maybe 1-2mm thick?
