Rainbow Snow

Crikey- it's been a while since I submitted some nature photography! But I've not had the opportunity to take photos of such lovely weather effects before!
The UK has been plagued with freezing cold temperatures, snow and ice this winter, and even though we're still mocked by the world for having a hard time coping with -23 degrees Celsius and heavy snow, we're not used to it.
The last snowfall I can remember that was this bad was back in 1996, but I've never experienced such low temperatures in the UK before!
This shot was taken at around 7pm with an exposure time of about 3 seconds. I had to take the shot because the colours were just so incredible and unnatural. I've never seen such bizarre colours without a sunrise/sunset. It would have been nicer to take it later when there was more snow, but I didn't want to miss out on the colours. Snow is so beautiful
But so fucking deadly when you can't use winter tyres, studs or chains to get to work ¬_¬


This has not been subjected to any colour processing, enhancing or camera filters.
