I got a rare day out today to Lake Vyrnwy. w00t

Rhiwargor falls is a very spectacular part of the area. These are the lower falls, since I'd have needed some climbing equipment to get to the higher part (which is annoying because the higher part is much more impressive).

Lake Vyrnwy is a reservoir that supplies Liverpool with its water (not Wales, ironically) and below the depths of the lake is a submerged village that was flooded to form it. You can't see any of the buildings, but there is a tree that is on top of a hill underwater that you can still see poking out of the surface.

I got a few shots for stock that will be available at ~XerStock soon, which will include the straining tower

I'm living in a city too, and I don't know where to find spot like that. You know, Switzerland, you find easily wood, etc, but Falls, it's a bit harder! :D

Is so strange to see a pic of nature in your galery;P because I met you on totaly different stuf:sun:
You captured the waterfals good . with a nice choice of time pose.. however it is an image you have to stop and look at it for a while to see all the details.. all the beauty inside it:heart:
but I think that still something is missing.. hm but dont know what=P

hehe. maybe the rest of the waterfall- it's much bigger than just this part- it's just the bottom (the pics i got of all of it aren't really that good =D) i'll be back there at some point to get the top half done in detail ;-)

i gotta say, my pics really didn't do it justice. this is just the bottom part of the falls- the top bit was too hard to get to for a close up, and i don't have a good enough lense to zoom in and get it from afar! But i'm sure i'll be back there one day for more photos. seeing the falls in full is just magical :-)
