LOADS...

I am finding loads of images- of mine and of other members of deviantART and elsewhere. There are in their masses. If these belong to anyone you know, send a note- and any more ideas or answers as to contacting owners of these images.

This is done in a hurry- back to a real journal after i've had some sleep, i just need to commit these links to screen. These links include my images too, as well as people on DA I know- i don't want them going missing.

Please help to crack down on image ripping. It is a BIG and SERIOUS issue, no matter how insignificant you think it is.

EDIT: It seems the websites are now removing the images for people to view. The multiply link can now ONLY be accessed by members of these communities. If you are a member of MULTIPLY then I need your help to notify the original artists of the images shown.
Concerning the first link, I know I saw a good few horror images, you might want to join and get your image removed. I'll be joining if I get no notification that my images have been removed. If ANYONE has any ideas on how to get these pics taken down, please help. The impression I'm getting is that the sites are allowing users to use non-user images and get away with not removing them because we can't see them.

I just reported that one guy who had two of my photos in his gallery...with watermarks still intact, and my name still in the name of the images. D'oh!

Why can't people think of a better way to collect the art they like than to post it into their own galleries?! It would seem that they seem to have no concept of copyright and the fact that for the average viewer, those images will appear to be created by the person posting them to their albums... regardless of whether or not you changed the file name. Just stupid :roll:

most people wont bother to change the file name so searching for your own stuff can be an easy way to find art thieves P: I learned that some time back when I was new to dA

yep- that is how i'm finding all of mine. Sorry i couldn't send a note- had to get to bed last night! I've had emails back from photobucket saying they won't remove them, so i've sent another email with all my info. so sick of this now..

yeah- i have a faves section on DA to store all of my faves, and before that, i had a pics folder on my pc. it's still there, but nothing of someone else's has been uploaded. anywhere! even before i knew how much of a massive deal copyright is. and yeah- people must be rather dumb to add the full file tag- added when you upload to DA!! i'm having problems with getting my pics removed. i hope no one else gets that problem- will be back later to note everyone that i recognise in those links (and i also notice two of the links have been restricted by bebo/bebo user¬_¬;). goddamn, i hate society sometimes..
