Of course, no DD would be complete without an asshat or two telling me how shit it is and how they have a right to their opinion and all that jazz. But I'm not one of those people that is insulted by you- no, I'm one of those people that will laugh my socks off at your jealous inadequacy. You can't rain on my parade
So, in case people here are pathetic enough to insult the artists that have received DDs:
Grow the hell up. I have a couple of little sayings for times like this: If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all, and do to those as you will have done to yourself.
The first one means that if you're only gonna bitch and whine about how another 'lame' picture got a DD, then get the f*ck off the DD page and go and use the time to comment constructively on someone else's pictures- maybe someone you're watching will be a good start.
The second saying means you should be as nice to other people as you want them to be to you. If you constantly go around being a shit to people, then don't be surprised if people do it back. So the next time you get a DD, expect a stack of people to come shit on your creativity
Unfortunately, people will never change and will continue to comment viciously on DDs until the cows come home because they say that they're voicing their opinion and freedom of speech and all that. Well, that's fair enough, but when you're doing that to people that have received a DD and haven't bothered to complain via the correct procedure (FAQ #873: What do I do when I disapprove of a Daily Deviation feature?), then you may be opening yourself up to a verbal kicking from the sites staff. Just face it- plain and simply, you just want to try and make someone feel like shit on what maybe be one of the best days of their artistic life.
I'm not here to be an outlet for your shit, and nor is anyone else that has gotten a DD. They didn't ask for a DD, and they didn't ask for your tactless thoughts on their art. Back off and let these people have their day. If you spend less time being an asshat and more time working on your art, you might get a DD yourself one day and see how it feels to have people bitch at you.

It's people that just blurt out their hatred for your work without explaining anything about why, how or what it is that is so fatally wrong with your work that are the problem}
