Fan and Shit equals..
Looks like the recession has just hit hard. You know something is wrong when oil companies with billions of dollars profit a year are holding onto their purse strings.
For those that don't know, I work for a geological consultancy firm- we do work on behalf of oil companies to find the best place for them to get oil, and looks like the oil companies are shitting it so much, that they're not giving out contracts until the oil price rises
I never though I'd say it, but I would like the oil price to rise a little so we can get some fucking contracts in
Basically, we've been told we can have a temporary 25% pay reduction, or someone will be made redundant- most likely me, since I'm a noob. It needs to be a mutual agreement, so if someone decides they don't want a paycut, there will be job reviews and guess who's the most likely candidate to be kicked out..
I'm absolutely mortified.
I'll gladly accept the temporary pay reduction, since it's not gonna last forever- probably for 3 months, worst case until Christmas, but it's still a kick in the teeth, since my salary is pretty low already.
Won't be moving out, and won't be getting a car, so meaning I will have to waste money on the fail trains as usual. Woo fucking hoo.
Fingers crossed I might be able to make a bit more cash with me jewellery or print sales, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Fuck you, banks. Thanks so much for causing a major fuck up with jobs all over the world because of your greed and petty acts.
Fuck you, politicians. Thanks so much for treating my country like slaves and taking our hard earned money so you can buy your fucking floating duck mansions and 5 TVs with your 50th home allowance.
Fuck you, people that can't get over themselves. You're not the spring of originality- and don't be so fucking insulting and expect people to bow down to your fake awesome.
Fuck you, train companies. Having 'the highest on-time trains ever' is not an excuse for a fucking celebration. Your 'service' sucks major balls, since other countries can manage to be 99% on time AND cheaper. You trains also smell. No, really.
Fuck you, Gordon Brown. You've not even been fucking born if you think you know what it's like for the regular guy on the street. We get shit all and you get everything delivered on a silver platter.

A warm welcome
I thought I'd be showing you folks my etsy account, but I'm not sure I can be bothered at the moment. I'd had just added a few designs to the site, when a couple of days later, I have another seller contact me to tell me that one of my designs was in fact their original design.
Now, I don't know about you folks, but I reckon two different people within the six billion people in the world can have a similar idea independently. I'm referring to the 'fruit salad' in a vial. The idea for that vial was inspired by two conversations I had with two people on dA. I had a convo with Little-Vampire about putting tomatoes into a vial, and a convo with cepums who said it would be cool too add raspberries, strawberries and lemons. I started looking for fimo to make some and found some fruit sticks on ebay.
I feel rather insulted by the forwardness of this person. A basic accusation that I'd stolen their idea
I felt ever so welcome to be there
I've not claimed I'm the original creator of anything- who knows it hasn't happened somewhere in the world already?
And even if my work has been inspired by theirs, who in the world hasn't had the same idea as someone else? Here are some beautiful examples of how people can have different ideas and still make the pictures different:
