Away for a few days
_{I will be away for a few days from tomorrow. I'm off to Manchester to get started on my new project about braided rivers (w00t..). To do that, I need to get up at 5am tomorrow to get my train at 06.47. Thankfully, I have a hotel room for Monday and Tuesday night, so I can also have the joy of seeing my boyfriend. It's been the best part of a month since I saw him last. It will also be a welcome break from life with my parents. I'm not saying it's bad- it's just a bit weird since I've lived by my own rules for the last two years almost.

Deviations Update
As of today, I have been told some of my bloody pieces of work should be labelled as 'Mature Content' (by a club). I've had no problems with them before, and no one has told me they require them- and some have been in my gallery for a while now.

Sorry if you've been offended by these. I welcome opinion on others that should be MC, or if you disagree with them being MC, but it now seems most of my gallery is off limits to my friends out of DA, and also anyone else unable to see them due to age/whatever. My patience is running out with the lack of FX make up tolerance.

Short Rant (contains copious numbers of swearwords)
As EveryNextDream was angry at a while back- people, categorise your work properly! I am so fucking sick of misplacements in the Horror and Macabre PHOTOGRAPHY category and in the Fractal Art category. I'm very sure they aren't the only categories. I spend too long reporting policy violations every day
If you have a PHOTO that you have MANIPULATED it goes into the PHOTOMANIPULATION category. Yes, this does mean anything using a stock image is MANIPULATED. Anything adding textures and blacking out someone's eyes is MANIPULATED.
Also, get your low res photos, anime and explicit manga images the FUCK out of the FRACTAL category! IT IS FOR FRACTALS! IS THAT REALLY SO HARD TO GRASP!
I challenged one person about a photo in the fractal gallery, and it was so it could get more attention. It doesn't work so well, since when the Gallery Directors change it, it gets shipped off to your scraps.. detrimental, I think you might agree. Imagine everyone doing that? What the fuck would be the point in any kind of categorisation and search facility? It is NOT hard to categorise things correctly, so please grace the community with doing so.

Special Feature
This time, give imafallenangel some love. She has some bloody awesome work in her gallery. Some beautiful examples of traditional drawing that are very photorealistic, as well as some photos. Don't pass this stuff by without taking a closer look. There is more to her work than a thumbnail. The first six are in fact drawings. My jaw dropped when I saw them.
